Hello Parents,
 
I am Dan Levy, Director of the Springfield Junior Bulldogs Pre-K Soccer Program.  I wanted to provide you with some updates and specifics on the upcoming season which begins Saturday Sept 6th and finishes on Saturday Nov 1st.
 
I am pleased to say that we have 45 children enrolled in the program.  Sessions will take place at Sandmeier Elementary School field on South Springfield Ave in Springfield NJ and will last from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm. PLEASE NOTE THAT DROP OFF'S ARE NOT PERMITTED. A PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE FOR EACH SESSION.
 
We have two professional trainers who will partner with our eight 'F' License certified head coaches to build developmental soccer skills with our players.  Additionally, we have eight assistant coaches to support the head coaches.  As you can see we have a robust support staff to ensure that your child has a fun and developmental experience.
 
Each Saturday, the players will be broken up into small groups during which, important basic soccer and teamwork skills will be taught. These smaller groups will allow for greater organization, focus and fun!
 
On days where weather is questionable please listen to the recording at the following # to find out if the session has been cancelled: 908-447-8352. The recording will be available starting at 8:00 am on Saturdays. In the event that sessions are cancelled due to rain, make-up sessions are scheduled for Sunday September 28th and Sunday October 26th.  
 
Jerseys, shorts and socks will be provided to the players by the league.  Shin guards are mandatory and must be provided by the parents. Cleats are not mandatory.  Sneakers are fine.

Hello Soccer Fans !!!!!

I am excited to announce The Soccer Club of Springfield has put together a Pre-K program this Fall 2008, “The Junior Bulldogs”.  Although this program may not pertain to all families, I kindly ask that you spread the word. Please talk it up at the pool, the playground, the shore house, wherever you may be.  I have attached a link (below) to the registration form which will be due by Aug 8^th with late registration running to Aug 15^th. From the buzz around town I truely feel that this program is going to fill up fast. Space is limited so don’t miss out.
