The Springfield Roadrunners U14B travel team notched their second consecutive victory in the Westfield Soccer Palace’s Winter league @ the Westfield Armory this past Saturday defeating the Linden Cosmos by a score of (4-1).
The win was most satisfying as the Roadrunners defeated a team that was (10-0) in the MNJYSA in the Fall of 2009, with a goal differential of (40-7). Springfield outshot Linden by an astonishing (30-9).
Scoring for the Springfield were Matt Pacheco (2), Kevin Casteblanco, & Andrew Maldenado. Also playing well for the Roadrunners were Jason Barreira, Noah Guber, Chris Rodrigues, Eric Pereira, Tyler Citrin, Kevin Chabla, & Ethan Siegel.
